CNC Lathe Machinist & Programmer
Job Requirements

Responsibilities:
This position is with Accurate Machine and Tool Corporation (AMT/AMT Integrated). AMT is seeking a talented CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMT engages in defense, space, and commercial fields.

Applicant must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to product unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in programming, setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to accurately read blueprint, set-up machine, edit programs, and operate Haas CNC Lathes and Mazak Quick Turn with live tooling.

Manual Mill Experience is a plus

Must have own tools and tool box.

Ability to work well under pressure, to handle multiple projects

Candidate must have good communication skills both verbal and written.

Due to Government, ITAR, and other related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Skills:
Must understand GD&T
Must be capable of validating in process measurements on own work with measuring tools
Experience using Surfcam
Programming in G-code
Proficiency in Solidworks is a plus
Ability to read and understand regulations and procedures is required
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to run production volume parts

Education:
Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 7 years’ experience on HAAS CNC Lathe Machines.

Associates in Machine Technology is a plus, will consider education in lieu of some experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk or hazard to the employee or to others

Attendance:
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per with, typically between 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a willingness to work Overtime if required by schedule and to meet any customer requirements.
Must be dependable and punctual.

Title
Masking and Part Marking
Job Requirements

AMT is seeking a mature and reliable individual who will be responsible for the development of Masking for the Plating Line, Paint and Stenciling using Bren plotter and software. Responsibilities will also include part marking (Per MIL-STD-130 requirements) and requesting the order of the necessary supplies as to complete tasks. This individual will also be applying and removing the masking created and helps on the plating and paint line as necessary.  Individual will also be asked to perform other industrial duties such as grinding, deburr, and light assembly.

 

Development Masking from Engineering drawing and apply for Paint and Plating operations.

Once Parts are plated or painted masking to be removed.

Must have computer and software knowledge using PC’s and plotters.

Part Marking (per MIL-STD-130).

Be able to use Calipers.

Ability to interpret Mechanical / Engineering drawings.

Rubber Stamp Part Marking.

Stenciling parts when required.

Work in a Team Environment.

Train and Mentor Teammates.

Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Maintain House Keeping Standards in the work area.

Basic math skills, able to use calculator and Microsoft Software’s.

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Experience:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a manufacturing job shop environment

MIL-STD-130 (6 Months to 1 Year)

Computer, Software and Plotter (1 Year)

Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings

Rubber Stamp and Stenciling Part Marking

Math Skills

 

Required Education:

High School or equivalent

College a Plus

 

Attendance

In general, work hours between Monday-Friday and typically between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Position may require occasion weekend work or overtime, depending on schedule and customer requirements

Must be dependable

Title
Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Job Requirements

Job Description

To handle identification, movement and organization of parts and materials as directed by project lead, while maintaining records and log books of location of each item.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Receives orders and use forklift to retrieve pallets for order fulfillment
  • Note any deviations from the intended shipment and make a record in the warehouse tracking system
  • Build, secure, and label pallets
  • Move pallets and boxes to designated storage location, and record in the system the location of the items.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors
  • Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse
  • Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Scope:

This position will report to the Project Lead, and will work normal working hours. This position requires receiving of orders and using a forklift to retrieve pallets for order fulfillment. After the pallet is retrieved, it shall be placed in the advised location and the log/company system will be updated to maintain accurate location logs. A key task will include help with movement of merchandise off shipping trucks and into the warehouse. Any deviations from the intended shipment will be noted and a record will be created in out tracking program utilizing Microsoft Excels and E2 Shop Tech. A forklift will be used to lift pallets and be driven to a storage location, and a record of the location of all merchandise will be maintained for easy retrieval.
